Judy's Journey into Childcare
Judy's path to becoming a childcare provider began with a solid educational foundation. She graduated from Framingham State University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Daycare Programs. This combination of studies equipped her with a deep understanding of child development and the practical skills needed to run a successful daycare.
After her graduation, Judy gained invaluable experience working as an assistant in the Special Needs program for the Waltham Public School System. For two years, she dedicated herself to supporting children with diverse needs, honing her skills in patience, creativity, and individualized care. This experience not only reinforced her commitment to helping children thrive but also inspired her to create her own childcare program.
The Birth of It's a Baby World Daycare
In 1993, following the birth of her daughter, Judy took a leap of faith and established It's a Baby World Daycare. She wanted to create a space where children could receive the same level of care, attention, and educational opportunities that she provided for her own daughter. Over the last 30 years, Judy’s home daycare has grown into a beloved community resource, trusted by countless families in Bedford and the surrounding areas.
